Discover Budapest through the playful and often unexpected miniature statues created by Ukrainian-Hungarian artist Mihály Kolodko. Scattered throughout the city, these small sculptures tell stories connected to Budapest, its history, culture and everyday life. Unlike the Best Photo Spots experience, this is a traditional guided tour, with stories and background at the locations we visit. The route can be done on foot or by car, but because the statues are spread across different parts of Budapest, the By Car option is strongly recommended. By car, we can visit significantly more statues within the same amount of time, while a walking tour will naturally cover fewer locations. The exact route can be adapted to your available time and interests, and we will select a combination of statues that makes the most of the time available. By Car option: You can choose to do the experience by car as an optional extra when booking. This allows us to reach more distant locations more easily, but Budapest traffic, one-way streets and parking conditions can affect the route and timing. Parking directly at a photo spot may not always be possible, so a short walk may still be necessary. In some cases, we may drop you off while the driver parks and joins you afterwards. Dogs are welcome on the walking tour, although some locations may be less convenient to reach with a dog. Dogs can also travel with you with the By Car option, at no additional charge. We can provide drinking water and a safe, dedicated space for your dog to travel comfortably in the vehicle. Please note: The advertised duration is an approximate tour length rather than a guaranteed finish time. Walking pace varies from one guest to another. If we notice during the tour that we are moving more slowly than expected, we will let you know in good time. Together, you can then decide whether to pick up the pace, shorten or adjust the route to keep within the original timeframe, or extend the tour at €20 per additional 30 minutes.
