Discover Budapest through its bars, local drinks, food and the stories behind some of the city's most interesting places. This is more than a traditional pub crawl: it is a local gastronomic experience combining iconic ruin bars, wine bars, beer spots, hidden local favourites and places with stories stretching back to the communist era. Led by a local who knows the city's nightlife and food scene personally, we take you to a selection of places in central Budapest that you might easily miss on your own. Along the way, you will hear the stories behind the places, learn about Hungarian drinking and food culture, and get a taste of different sides of Budapest's social life. Choose from 3 different durations: Pub Intro (2 hours) is a quick introduction with several interesting stops but limited time for drinking; Pub Crawl (3 hours) is the classic version, with time to enjoy a few drinks and spend some time at each bar; while Pub Adventure (4 hours) offers the full experience, allowing us to visit more places, including some further from the city centre, and use public transport when needed. The experience is primarily designed for groups of at least 4 people, as the atmosphere and shared experience are an important part of the tour. Smaller groups are welcome too, although the experience may naturally feel different with fewer people. Dogs are welcome, although individual venues may have their own rules regarding dogs. Drinks and food are not included in the tour price, so you can choose what you would like to try at each location.
